He's Still God

We live in a time of continual uncertainty and inconsistency, but the one thing that we can count on and predict is that things are going to change. Our economy is unstable. There are companies that are operating today and tomorrow they have closed their doors. The price of gas is continually going up and down. With all this inconsistency we struggle daily to find stability as we look for answers to this troubled time. We are looking to capitol hill, our local city officials and the President of the United States to step up and give us some answers. The only answer for this world has always been and will always be God.

We must not just sing and talk about it, but we must believe and act like God is the one supreme creator and ruler of the universe and as long as he is still sitting on the throne, he has everything under control. There is nothing that happens that catches God off guard, he is in control. It is important that we remember and believe that God is and has always been sovereign. Allow me to remind you of his sovereignty from a few verses in Isaiah, chapter 40. “Who hath measured the waters in the hallow of his hands and meted out heaven with the span? Who hath weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance. What a mighty God we serve."

I am so glad that as many things change around us that he is still God. The scripture declares that he is the same yesterday, today and forever. The God that healed the woman with the issue of blood loves you just as much and he is still God, the God that opened the blind eyes loves you just as much and he is still God. What he did for them he can do the same for you. Don’t be discouraged by all the trouble and upheaval in life because our God is still God.
